How is transparent?

I got Amazon prime at the beginning of the month, I enjoyed Grand Tour (been a long time fan of Top Gear) and the only thing interesting about The Man In the High Castle was Amy Okuda (I wish she had a penis) I'm not sure if I'm going to watch Transparent. I like seeing Gaby Hoffman (I seen her nude scenes on Mr. Skin) but I couldn't see Jeffery Tambor as a transgender, I seen actors pull it off (Crying Game, Soldiers Girl) I'm a huge fan of Hellboy comics and Tambor won my respect with his chemistry with Ron Perlman. What do you guys think?

Transwomen aren't always in their 20s and attractive. I've never seen the show, but Jeffrey Tambor is a great actor.
