Only on social media. The high majority would say absolutely NOTHING if face to face with that person. That's the cowardly cruel world we live in. Again, I still won't defend those bullies in any way, regardless of the supposed 'attack'.
And August even apologized for the tweet and that only made people bully her more. So, tell me once again, if you're going to attack someone, then you're going to attack back. No, you're going to attack simply because it makes you feel better about yourself regardless of how shitty it makes others feel.
Then you're being disingenuous and choosing one 'bully' over another. This isn't about defending people, you're adding to the situation.
Social media is an issue, and I think the industry needs to take itself away from being so open in front of those who are not in the industry and have more face-to-face attacks.
How am I choosing one bully over another? Someone states an opinion and they're a bully to a genre of the industry? But, if it was an opinion you supported you'd call it freedom of speech!
At the end of the day, the blood is on the bullies hands. How you can see if differently blows my mind.
"Ames posted on Twitter over the weekend that she would not be working with a man “who has shot gay porn,” adding, “I do my homework for my body.” The tweet drew a lot of attention from people calling her homophobic, an accusation she denied. Monday she tweeted that none of her intentions were malicious and she was simply looking out for her own health."
Oh yes, such an attack that deserves being bullied to death. Ridiculous!!
