I’ll let you know if I find it
I found it here : https://www.artfilm.ch/thelma&lang=en
It looks like it's available in French and in German. I don't know if there are subtitles. I've never tried this pay-per-view provider.

There's a movie called Haymaker that just came out with Nomi Ruiz, who's a trans singer/actress. There are no on-screen sex scenes, but she's certainly very sexualized in it.

The trailer makes it look like a fighting movie where the fighter questions his attraction to a trans woman, but it's way more of a romance movie than a fighting movie, and it doesn't fall into those same tropes that almost all other trans romance movies do where the fact that she's trans is seen as some kind of obstacle. It's definitely the best portrayal I've seen of a romance involving a trans woman, very easily could have been a cisgender woman in the lead and it wouldn't affect the overall movie at all.
Not an amazing movie or anything, but I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and non-sensationalized example of a trans romance in a movie. For being low budget, it's well made. Also an interesting dynamic that it's a pretty hyper-masculine movie with him being this gruff fighter, and quite a bit of action in it.
The lead also wrote/directed/cast the movie, so he definitely wanted a trans love interest. Crazy amount of wardrobe changes for her throughout the movie, really showing off her body. Definitely a conscious decision to sexualize her. No nudity though.
For anyone that doesn't care about overall plot for the trans dynamics in the movie (SPOILERS):
I believe there were 3 total mentions of her being trans in the entire movie. First is when he finds a picture of her as a kid (in the trailer), she says "that's me", and the subject entirely gets dropped right away (ie. he doesn't care). 2nd is probably the more sensationalized part where she gets into an altercation with a rapper who doesn't like her being trans (lead isn't there for that, so doesn't know about it). And 3rd is when her mom is talking to him and just saying she knew that she was a girl when she was young. That's it, doesn't affect the plot as a whole in any way.
I recently rewatched All About My Mother by noted Spanish Director Pedro Almodovar, which won the Oscar for best foreign language film of 1999. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_About_My_Mother
The plot features two transsexual/CD characters in significant roles, though I don't think either is played by a transsexual actor. There are no explicit sex scenes, but there is some simulated oral sex.
