On facebook there is a transfix Hollywood at El cid 2nd Saturday of every month. Is that in addition to Thursdays at Cobra?

$15 cover and $11 beer? What kind of inflation is this? I believe it was $10 cover and $6 before covid.

At the Burbank/Vineland N Hollywood club last night I paid $10 cover. I don’t drink and a club soda was $3.

It was a mostly a young crowd and most of the girls were in transition and beautiful. I’m a CD and older. I was also by myself. The other places I frequent there are more CDs and older girls.

If I had a girlfriend with me I probably would have enjoyed it more.

I did see Jane Marie who I’m a big fan.

It was loud too but most clubs are I think.

I’m glad this club was able to reopen for the trans community.

I think you went to Cobra. That's what I was talking about. It sounds like I was overcharged.

This was pre-covid...but at Cobra on Transfix Thursday, there was actually no cover if you arrived early. Granted, there were either few to no ladies there early except the bartenders or go go dancers who were just arriving but I thought it was always cool to be there early and chat with them (saved a few bucks). Not sure if it's the same deal at Club Cobra.

Yes, kj312, there will be a bimonthly event at El Cid. Aubrey or the DJ also made an announcement about it last night at Cobra.

I also attended Cobra this past Thursday. I paid $15 cover charge and mixed drinks were $15 each (ouch). The part I hated the most is you could only pay by credit card, no cash. i probably will not come back until things change and quality of T-girls improve. It was definitely a younger crowd....What happened to the good ole days?
