I'd quite happily date marry etc a t girl, I've just not met one who doesn't just see me as a giant cash machine (well there was the one who was just more interested in a visa.) It would be nice to find one who isn't just driven by money, I want a partner not a full time whore.

The thing is ts women are not like genetic women from a psychological point of view. They're not maternal in the way women are (i've never seen a ts gush over a baby the way women do) and very materialistic. Money is usually the icing on the cake for a genetic woman, they don't primarily go for guys for cash. How often do you see a fit young girl dating some 60 year old guy for his money? Not often, most girls just go for guys who are similar to themselves age, looks and status wise.

Are you for fucking real? You should have seen me gush PRE-TRANSITION when I PERSONALLY delivered my son. You have no idea about the sacrifices I've had to make since then and the battle I've had to fight just to pull myself back from the brink of self-destructive bitterness to keep my family as together as possible. It's actually quite difficult and draining for a transwoman to do so, especially in this economy and job market, and especially against a re-married biological mother with out-of-state extended family with money who want a child of their own and aren't above stealing yours (long story), as was my case. People ask me all the time why I haven't gotten breast implants yet, and there's the reason: I've been a single mom throughout my entire transition, and only as of next month will I not have my son 50% of the time. I am quite aware of my order of priorities.

That said, that doesn't mean that I, like most women, don't want security as well as love from a person with which I have a family, but that doesn't mean that I would ever be with someone solely for their money. The man I'm with now, for example, moved me into his house and bought me a Lexus because he wanted to make sure that I have what I need to take care of my child and myself (and him for that matter) best, but I didn't demand it, beg for it, or otherwise feel entitled to it. Furthermore, as long as I have a child, I'd be remiss as a parent to turn down help from friends and lovers under such circumstances. Believe me: no woman is a gold digger simply because she wants to be loved AND have security for her family. That's just par for the course in a patriarchal world.

Most importantly to the thread, though, I understand that I may be a rare exception to a pretty consistent 'rule,' but just like transwomen can be maternal, both GG and TS women can be the real gold diggers you discuss, women who just want cash and gifts. Believe it before you start pointing fingers.
