Seriously? Well said? It's such a huge generalization (which mac b admits, btw), to be meaningless. I know mac b has been around the block and knows a tgirl or two, but there is no way that he knows the broader trans community to support this generalization in any way that resembles some type of truth. And, in fact, no one knows the community in such depth. Even a scientific study would stop short of the conclusions in this statement.

Let me be a bit clearer in my point. It was well said. Trans-women of color have a larger percentage of unemployment. They have a higher chance of being homeless. Black trans-women for instance have a much greater chance of being ostracized by their families. There are almost zero support for trans-women of color in most urban areas. These are facts. Brother Mac B is spot on. Let me add that there is a much higher level of violence in their communties also. All of these are simple truths. White trans-women do have "white male privlidge" as well

my very dear friend and roommate is a grooby photographer.because of her i probably meet 3 or so new trans girls a week from a variety of different racial,social and economic backgrounds.you'd be surprised to know that the the girls who have regular jobs and careers out number the girls who escort.my friend is constantly having to schedule shoots around the models jobs or school schedules.
you being one man,especially one who isnt apart of the greater trans community is going to have limited exposure to the girls.how many trans woman do you actually know like what 10? 15? 20? thats not really enough to make any accurate assumptions or generalizations
