Land yacht ! Nice.
I love the old Cadillacs. I'm also one of those people who would rather spend thousands to maintain a car properly and keep it on the road and looking good ,than trade it in just because something expensive needs fixing.
Here's what I drive. Heavy ,but drives like a sports car. "Not your father's Cadillac"
2000 Cadillac ETC.

Re: Car pic of the day...
Well I'm not going to afford a fancy daily driver. So I'm hoping to get my hands on a Lotus 7 kit. I could build it up and rip around on it at the track. They are reallly fast.

Re: Car pic of the day...
Just saw this '65 on eBay. Similar to one that I had back in the late '70's.

Re: Car pic of the day...
Mine was a hearse, the one in the pic/on eBay is a combination hearse/ambulance. My first one, a '70, was a combo. The floor panels with the casket rollers flip over to smooth tile, there is a set of fold-down jump seats for the attendant/EMT, and some of them have removable landau panels to cover the rear windows when in a funeral procession.
The '65s were especially unique in that Cadillac had restyled its line from the finned '64s to the new, straight lined 65/66 style. The matching Fleetwood '75 limousine, however, was still in the '64 fin design as Caddy had abandoned the stock limousine and handed it over to coach builder Lehman-Peterson for the '65 model year. LP backed out and handed it back to Caddy, too late for the new body dies to be stamped, so the '65 limo was just a '64 with trim tweaks. Made them a little out of place in a funeral when the hearses and flower cars were being turned out in the new style.
