when you say images are copied and hosted locally, what do you actually mean? Are you saying you take the link and the extension is ".jpg" and you put it between [IMG][/IMG]?

if you have not yet realized what the issue is...hot linking is a problem.

if you browse to an image then paste the image url between the [img][/img] tags, it may or may not show up depending on the site you are linking. you see the images because they are in your cache but we may not.

that is part of the reason why steven changed the image link so that the images are copied and hosted locally. it is a bit of a pain sometimes but ultimately its the way the forum works now.

no, when you use the insert image button above, click "from URL" and add the link that way, AND the box below is checked off, the image is uploaded to HA for you automatically and thumbnailed for the post. the use of [img][/img] is just the old way and it still works most of the time.

Oh ok , I gotchu now, ok, some times I right click on an image and used "copy image URL" and it will work. So I did it just like you said. I will down load them to my hard drive and do "From my computer" I can do multiple pics, when I finish just get them off my hard drive.
