Thread: Getting Into the Industry

good luck
go to the video store and write down all the producers, stars and distributors that are prominent in the films you like. contact them for an appointment. they will see you. if they like you and they have something they will give you a shot. like modelling, the pay is better for females than males and more so for stars. if ts is your thing the pay is less for unknown males for a number of reasons but marginal audiences is the most obvious. 85% of the industry works out of CA, but i know some producers that use FL, NY and of course Brazil. If making a killing is your thing then count on doing the films yourself. learn about production and more importantly distribution and marketing. real money can be made eventually but you'll need to show the ability to deliver good talent and fairly good production values to achieve any level of respect.
If you're serious you'll make friends with a good experienced camera crew and be able to pay the talent before you even start talking or your credibility will be zero.
as far as just becoming a porn star (male), the competition is fierce especially since viagra, chances are slim, but good luck.

Do you want to be in the industry for money or for the fame?
Would you be a top or bottom or both?
I know these are a couple of questions that generally get asked.

Jet-Set 5!
Wow Peaches, I am seriously impressed!!
I haven't even finished casting for Jet-Set 4 and you have already received an offer from me to perform in Jet-Set 5!
Do make sure you let me know who else I have offered appearances to for Jet-Set 5 as it seems that you are way ahead of me on this topic!!

I've noticed that on one or two yahoo groups I belong to, there are every once in a while open casting calls for guys to get involved with films in specific cities, or what have you.
I'm sure that it's all a matter of desire. If you look hard enough and work hard enough and make sure you don't look like some hairy and zitty fatass then I'm sure you could find a way into "the industry."
Then again, what do I know, eh? I'm just some schmuck from New England...
Oh, and despite the fact it was said in a negative manner, that lemon peel stuff does work. Over the winter I put on 15 lbs. of muscle in two weeks when I was protein loading for my college track team and I got a couple of those marks on the inside of my biceps. I saw that hint somewhere and tried it out, and they eventually went away.
Just trying to be helpful

I'm guessing $20,000-25,000 is what it takes to produce a film from start to finish, including distribution. Only top-notch girls (Vicky, Mia, Skylene) with quality production. Is my figure accurate? Joanna, care to comment?

Ron Jeremy (Yes the Hedgehog) gets ask by guys how to get into adult films a lot. His answer is to find a hot new girl or in our case she-male & bring her to an audition. If they like the girl & sign her they may sign you as well. So go out & find a hot T-girl that wants to do a adult vid & then get in touch with the production companies of the t-girl vid to see about auditions. Good Luck
