Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
Well I think many of us here live in large cities but I believe the percentage of LGBT - with slight variations - are same across the population. In larger urban areas you will also encounter MORE 'out' people since there is greater likelihood of becoming part of a community. So in reality you are in the best place i all of the UK to meet women. If you're truly interested in transgender women then how about joining a support group or getting involved in the things that are important to transgender women. Not the things that YOU think they're interested in: clubs and whoring. If you go to Thailand to find transgender women they will most definitely be interested in you MAINLY BECAUSE YOU'RE A FOREIGNER WHICH EQUALS MONEY-MAKER in their society. You're clearly a fucking yob with a superiority complex: it's all about you and what you want and women should fit into what you want and well if you can't find what you want in London then you'll take your airs and your cock and go to a third-world country where you - incorrectly - believe you will lord it over the women there who will want you because you're a nice guy. You're delusional.

Lol, you actually sound upset. You give me the impression that you are late 40s to mid 50s? Everybody knows that Thailand is a destination for foreigners to encounter sex with trans. Nobody said I would be going there for love, I intend to just head out there.
Don't you just hate it when someone ask you a stupid ass question or gets the wrong end of the stick when something is so straight forward?? I need a pencil and a piece of paper or something LMAO!

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
Except you started your post off with this : I absolutely adore trans women, I'm on a mission to find a real connection with one again as I have dated one in the past.
...and as for this part:
Your looks better live up to your perception, because your personality certainly doesn't.

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
I had a very feminine gay male roommate with a very soft voice..that mo-fo loved to dress up on weekends, putting a wig over his dreads and a one piece short skirt with spaghetti straps...the boobs were some kinda concoction of waterballoons and socks...lol..but he made money...and there are tons others out on the sstrolls doing the same..trust me..i used to see the young ones out there at night who hid their high school uniforms in the bushes so after a night out they could slip into them and go straight to school..you see a lot..

Re: Gay for Pay- Trans for Pay ?
All of the above posts are accurate. In the interest of education, I'll add what I've been told by may partner.
She was 100% sure that she trans by her early teens. At 16, while still in high school, she tried transitioning. However, she was the target of extreme bullying that frequently crossed the line from being mean spirited to criminal. Matters became so bad that -- at the suggestion of school officials, who explicitly said they were powerless to protect her -- she had to transfer schools her senior year. As a consequence, she decided to de-transition at 17 and went back to presenting as femme gay boi for the duration of high school. This experience was so traumatic that, even after high school, she was too scared to transition, so existed as a femme gay boi for several, and used drag performance as a way to express her female side.
Then, at 20, she began taking hormones (secretly) and growing out her hair, while still living as a femme gay boi, and prepared to re-transition. After a year, though, when it became obvious that she starting her transition, she was confronted and fired by her employer --without notice-- for being trans. (FYI, it's 100% legal for employers to fire employees for being trans in about 50% of U.S. states.) As a result, she became homeless for a while, had to move back home with her family, who are not wealthy people. After paying for basic necessities neither she nor her family could afford things like hormones, testosterone blockers, lawyers fees associated with legal name changes, psychologically necessary cosmetic procedures, etc. In these circumstance, she considered de-transitioning again, fell into a severe clinical depression, and became suicidal.
Around the same time, though, she learned through the t-girl grapevine that she could make money posing for adult websites. So, out of necessity, she financed her transition by doing adult modeling for about 3 years. (Today, she is deeply embarrassed that there are naked pictures of her on the internet.) Once she transitioned full-time and found gainful employment, things got better and she moved on from the adult bizz.
What, I think is important to note about her situation is: 1) she had the emotional support of several family members during that entire tumultuous time; 2) she lived in an area that had lots of resources available for trans people and 3) because she's naturally attractive, even during her early transition, she was passable enough to go about her business without getting clocked and make extra money from doing adult shoots. And yet, she de-transitioned once and considered doing so a second time.
From what I've been told by her, this experience is pretty typical for trans women. So, that is why de-transitioning is not unheard of...
