Got it spot on there. So many who post about becoming a guy in porn never even really consider the on-set filming factors too. Even if they were remotely near in shape enough for the role could they "perform", maintain an erection in front of a camera guy or other on set personnel apart from the the performers. If it's a cheaper production (say gonzo style) could they have sex and hold the camera. There are just so many variables. Some guys might suggest they could be a bottom only performer (despite that fact most porn would require a top guy - which itself needs a cock to fit porn aesthetics) but have they truly bottomed enough in everyday life or do they even understand how clean they would need to be.

Reality is porn is exactly as you say when quoting Christian - fantasy. Most of us would be woefully inadequate, under-prepared and psychologically not in a place for actually being part of that industry.

Maybe because they can't get any straight porn offers. I don't know how it is today, but years ago if you did trans or gay porn you were instantly blacklisted from straight companies.
