The Directors should have known and told Steve also given his 30 year porn history has always been straight, plus wouldnt a TS porn scene require some sort of discussion prior between performers or Directors, sadly Steve used the wong language partly generational as well doesnt excuse him but I think the Directors should have been more transparent woth him.

Well said. He would've been in the clear in my mind if he didn't willfully make himself ignorant with technology then show he uses said technology. I can understand his argument in principle, and ultimately he doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want, but come on.

I mean he can blame everyone else about "wasting time" but if time is so important to him why not actually spend 60 seconds looking thru the person's profile and running a Google search about the person you're talking to about f-ing. There was no bait and switch. Nobody expected that when he agreed to work on 'Aubrey Kate's Showcase' for Evil Angel, he'd be too stupid not to know who AVN and Xbiz winner, Evil Angel contract girl and pretty much the biggest cross-over trans star of the last few years was. He even went to her Twitter but didn't scroll down (!??!).

Steve Holmes is a idiot. And he's an ignorant and out of touch muppet, I've had first hand experience of his ego.


If he's too stupid to be in this industry as a performer, and not to know who Aubrey Kate is (multiple times AVN and Xbiz Performer of the Year, contact girl for Evil Angel, etc.) and couldn't be arsed looking a little further on her twitter feed, or finding out more when he was going to work for EA on a showcase title, then it's on him.


Nobody should work with someone they don't want to, and if he showed on set and realized he'd made an error then fair enough, but the consistent mis-gendering, and his ridiculous posting of the full logs which actually made him sound worse (look how many professionals just called it 'embarrassing').


How about he just said;


"Hey, there was a mistake in communication, it's not my business model or scene partner preference. I'm sorry we've all had our time wasted, but it wouldn't make for a good scene."


And just move on, and shut up.

The issue isn't with him not wanting to do the scene, it was the mis-gendering after the fact.

1. Steve Holmes has stated publicly and is well known in the industry for doing gay/trans/bi stuff off camera for years and years. Trust me - it wasn't a stretch for him to be doing it on camera finally instead of at the Kit Kat Club in Berlin.


2. Aidan Starr booked the scene and definitely told Steve he was doing a trans girl or a trans scene. He has never done one on camera before - there is a zero percent chance the director never brought it up.


3. if Aidan Starr didn't bring it up - then this is all on her for not doing her due diligence and covering all of her bases. She needs to be smarter than that.


4. Steve claims he didn't know Aubrey Kate was a trans girl because it doesn't say trans in her twitter bio. It does, however, say 3x AVN Performer of the Year. So unless Steve is a complete fucking idiot - he knows shes not the BBW POTY, or the best new starlet, or the best European performer, or the best female POTY...process of elimination would clearly let anyone with a pulse and 2 working eyes know she is the TS performer of the year.


5. He showed up on set for the scene and then got cold feet about doing the scene on camera. It happens I guess. He could have just said "hey I got covid and gotta run" "my test is bad" whatever - bail out gracefully. Instead he started misgendering her repeatedly.


6. The guys who misgender trans girls are always the ones who fantasize and have sex with them behind the scenes. I've seen it hundreds of times.


Finally, I give Steve a lot of credit actually. It takes a big man to say to himself, how can I get out of this situation? I know - I will publicly tell everyone that I was too stupid and ignorant to figure it out myself. That takes brass balls. She tricked me! Apparently Steve has said that part of his process is not to look up girls he is going to shoot with and he goes in blindly as its how he gets himself ready for a scene, he is turned on by the mystery of not knowing a lot about the performer thats been his process for thirty years.
