Prior to seeing this post, I was actually giving this topic some thought as I recently got married to a wonderful woman who is transgendered.

While she has had some facial work and breast augmentation, she has decided to not have SRS due to her not having any dysphoria from her genitalia.

To be clear, she, made the decision to not have SRS way before meeting and eventually marrying me.

When we first met, I did not know that she was transgender until after the date when she told me and while I might have looked at some porn from time to time, I was not like rock on, let's shag, I was completely unsure and most definitely in uncharted territory.

What went through my mind at the time, was whoa if we ever sleep together am I gay if she has a penis? Now, I did manage to quell those anxieties for the moment and agree to another date which was good or else I might have missed the opportunity to fall in love with such an amazing woman and my now wife

As we spent more time together I began to realize that she is female, no two ways about it. While she does have a penis and at first I will not lie it seemed incongruous as I would look at her as everything else was so feminine, I do not even notice it anymore as it is just part of her.

In fact she says fairly often, it is just skin and tubes, it does not define her man or woman and I have come to agree with her on that.

Now to be upfront and honest, I do not suck on it or anyway treat it like a male organ as I am not sure that I could do that and she really does not want me to either.

At the end of the day where does that leave me in specific and this question in general?

I strongly believe that how your partner identifies, male or female matters more in determining straight or gay, not what equipment they have between their legs.

In my opinion it makes you in the very least fluid.... Hetero-fluid or just fluid. Does it make you fully gay? No. If that were the case, then gay men would be into transwomen but they aren't at all.
