Hmmm, peoples music tells alot about them.. Very interesting thread. But I would have to say that I am another guy who didnt know more than half of the music listed (I wonder if I would even want to know)

One thing is that some of the tgirls seemed to have some good taste and anyone out of this country also. Foreigners always seem to apreciate the best of American music.

I am listening to Brazilian music right now, a mix of Bossa nova...

That's an old Crazy Horse song,Quinn. Neil and the boys did it on their '76 album Zuma. They used to rip it up live.

I can't imagine anyone trying to cover it? What Dave Matthews CD is it on?

I just finished listening to the Dead Boys doing "Son of Sam". The actual dog that Berkowitz claimed to get his orders from barks in the background. The Dead Boys were some sick puppies. LOL!!!

As someone who is a fan of the original Neil version, I had my doubts as well. Still, I was pleasantly surprised by the Dave Matthews version. You can find it on the 2003 "Central Park Concert" album -- or online through Bearshare.

Life is essentially one long Benny Hill skit punctuated by the occasional Anne Frank moment.
