Hi everyone.

I know I've been not so active on this board recently-I have been keeping a low profile. Mainly because my life has been rather hectic recently.
So hectic that I've had no time to complete all the goals I set for myself after AVN- but will hopefully do so in the near future.

I feel like I owe many of you on this board an apology. An apology because on several occasions, discussions on here have bought not the best in me. I've been accused both on here by some and in idle gossip of many falsehoods and I have tried my best to keep it at bay- and sometimes I have succeeded and at others not. I admit I can have a horrible temper that sometimes gets the best of me.

2008 thus far has brought me many great joys and sorrows-it's been a bittersweet year at best. I've some high career points and many personal lows. Winning the AVN award was the best I could do in the business as a performer. I believe I reached my peak as a performer and nor do I ever intend do to that again; 1 time is a great enough honor. As a very famous song describing the life of a woman in show business says 'First your another true blue vamp, then someone's mother, then your camp'; I definitely will know when it's time to change my strategy. There are so many new girls in the business that I am so very proud like Sexxxy Jade and Foxxy- girls I hope will have very bright futures in this business and will hopefully revive what I believe to be a rare breed: the transsexual porn star. These are girls who are humble, and that in my opinion makes them shine even more.

I've also had many personal lows such as dealing with a very ill family member, being victimized by vicious gossip, and had another yet another stalker who was threatening to cause harm to me. Very recently, I almost became embroiled in a slander lawsuit due to untrue things that were being said about me. Career damaging things that could have had severe consequences . However, I was prepared to fight this full force, at whatever price, and sought legal counsel to immediately commence legal proceedings. Fortunately, from what I understand, several retractions were issued and thus no law suit followed. And though no formal apology was ever issued to me, it was implied and that to me is enough. I wish no longer to discuss that matter but I know that some damage is still done as some people will always chose to believe the worst.

I've also had to seek a restraining order over an obessive person who began to stalk me through email and text messages. I've always thought I was pretty private outside my 'Allanah Starr' persona, but I've now had two stalkers in two years which led me to move to a building with very tight security and am contemplating hiring personal security whenever I make a public appearance as Allanah Starr. When someone threatens to slash you throat when you are leaving your party, it's quite disturbing and makes you always think twice about going out alone or if you are being followed.

As may of you are also aware, I've been dealing with my personal weight issues and have been dieting and doing my best to get back into the shape I want to be. Hence why I have not shot another film in 2008. It's quite funny because I don't think you can ever win with weight in the business. If you get to big people start to poke fun at you and if you get to skinny people say you are dying of disease. I want to make sure I am looking the best I can for when I am on camera again as I am in the process of building my own production company with contract performers and will only be working for myself. BUT, will keep my promise to shoot the up close and virtual series this year for Devil's (if all negotiations go as planned) as well as the excusive pictorial I promised ShemaleYum. I will only do two more releases this year, one for Gia Darling and another release in which I will make my directorial debut. It's by no means a retirement, I just don't feel I need to prove myself as a performer as I once did and I can pick and choose projects as I wish as well as I would like to have total control of my image in adult product. I believe developing my own series will give me total control and the freedom to make the kind of ts erotica I want to make.

On the bright side, I am gearing up for a very exciting project that I will soon announce that has only been afforded to one other transsexual adult actress in history and I am very proud to be the next. I am so getting ready to go on a publicity tour for Absolute Allanah, that will again hit LA, New York, San Francisco, London, and possibly Paris, Chicago, and Florida. Apart from that I am working on liscensing deals for ShemaleExotica.com and a complete revamp of ShemaleEvents.com, as well as a site that will only focus on my accomplishments in the mainstream and be a purely non-sexual fan site.

I can't say how grateful I am to those of you who have been supportive of me throughout the years on HA. And to these of you who wish I fall on my face, I am also grateful for you as well as you keep me on my toes and are a driving force in my success. I've been at many times been accused of being a bitch, and perhaps I can be. But I think at times to be a transsexual woman in business you have to be a tough-very tough- and make decisions a lot of people might not like. If that constitutes being a bitch, then so be it. If life as a somewhat public person has thought me anything, it is that make sure whoever works for you signs confidentiality agreements and keep your personal life as private as you can.

And to those who send me PM's all the time and I do not respond, please be aware I get an extreme amount of mail everyday on several sites-but have just hired a new assistant that will help me with that. I do read them and I am most appreciative of the kindness you send my way.

So I have not meant to distance myself from HA, but I've distanced myself from all the insignificance of online fighting and bitterness. There is quite a bit of ridiculousness on this board, but also quite a bit of community that keeps it all together.

I thank you for reading, and know that I am always proud to be a part of HungAngels. Even at my low points, I still find I always come back to HA.

PS. I can't forget to mention that I of course am still working on the Being T project with my dear friends and that Dina Delicious and I , are producing a cabaret act that will debut later this year-and of course more surgery.
