Just look at the class and elegance of the Hollywood starlets back then like Cyd Charrise, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Rita Hayworth, ect. and compare them to what Hollywood serves up today.
Paris Hilton? Lindsay Lohan? Britney Spears? Makes me wanna PUKE!

There are videos on YouTube of some her famous dance numbers. Great legs, great moves and a great beauty.

RIP Cyd. Her scenes with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire are immortal.

My ignorance about her was recently remedied, unfortunately it was seeing articles about her after she passed away.
She was fucking gorgeous... I'm in awe.

The studios pretty much controlled the paps, prez, and gossip papers were bribed not to run stories.
It would be true that in fact they don't make stars like they use to.
ANd of course there is a difference between a great movie star and a great actress.
