I haven't been out to LA in a few years. but you've got me thinking. I'm going to have to do some research.
Although I'm not sure I'm up to going to LA because my ex lives there.

Anyone who has spent time in both NYC and LA, can easily decipher the reasoning for this. In general there is no comparison on any level, NYC is the pinnacle. But I would also agree that SF tops LA as well. LA nightlife is, in general, just one dimensional.
