i'm also set to see it this weekend. Can't wait to see it.
It really helps if one sees the actual animation B-4 they see the
actual film to be more familar with the animation characters,
But then maybe some viewers like suprises.
if Blood works out well is gross sales, i so hopefully that
other well known animations like Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll and
Battle Angel will also be brought to live action movies and be
just as successful.

i saw Blood: the Last Vampire.
it does offers a lot of wire-flying,blood gore, sword-slashing action,
but it's really miscast as a " vampire " fight movie.
The creatures "Saya " fought appear to be more demons than
vampires.
i thought the character-development,fighting training session,
and storyplot would be more on the level of Legend of the Shadowless
Sword, Crouching Tiger/Hidden dragon, and Hero, but it wasn't.
Though the CGI looking monster-creatures was cartoonish-looking,
this movie does have a lot of action in it.

VHD should never be live action... especially if it's made by or in america
The Gods will do for no man, what he can do for himself.
