All valid concerns. But until men can get over this stuff and no be so scared of everything, expect transwomen to treat you guys how they do.

I think the toughest thing for TS women is to be patient with men.

You had your whole life to drum up the courage to come out, tell your parents and loved ones, make the necessary changes and move on.

We have to adjust damn near overnight. You go from meeting said girl, to going out in public a week later. That is tough for someone who just realized the were interested in TS women. I am not making a blanket excuse. I am just opening the eyes of people who may not think about the overnight change that is expected.

I went from discovering TS, to seeking out pics and the like. Then I decided I wanted to take the plunge, and ACTUALLY read quite a bit about the subject on places like Susan's place. I learned how TS women felt about us men deep down, and the problems they face. My next step was to befriend a TS girl, and learn from her. We had quite a few conversations. We went out to eat. She showed me the ropes.

Now I feel like I am broken in enough that I won't totally act a fool when I do get into a relationship. I am still a bit green, but I have come to grips with being out in public with a TS woman, and decided (through experience), that it doesn't bother me.

From what I have seen so far, the TS world is tough no matter what you do. There are a lot of bitter angry girls out there. I met a couple just the other day. Girls who were hurt early in transition, and haven't let it go. Navigating that will be tough. We will see if it's worth it.
