Good topic. I just spent a few days working in a motorcycle shop (long story) and the guys had a "classic rock" station on, so I heard all sorts of songs I hadn't heard in years. At the moment I have to go fix some stage lighting at a tittie bar, though.

OK, so a coming of age song. I'd have to say it's that damn "I Think We're Alone Now". The first girl I ever dated for any length of time told me once that was "our song", because we both happened to be in a car at the same time when it played on the radio.

I thought "How is this our song, if I have no say in the matter, and don't like it?" Serious dating has never made much sense to me ever since.
