The UN is urging more people to eat insects -living in a country that has had eruptions over horse meat masquerading as beef, I don't think this is going to catch on; even if they are deep fried and golden all over.

But then I suppose if you dunk a deep-fried spider in enough tabasco sauce, it would be hard to know...?

I've ate bugs by choice numerous times and if I could source some of them for a fair price in the UK I would again. There is little difference between eating shrimp and some insects (the insects might be cleaner).
